Covid Restrictions For Church Service

12 Aug, 21 | News Archive

This message is relevant to the Chancellor Church Services for 15th and 22nd August.

Based on the Queensland Health guidelines for Schools, Chancellor State College Primary and Secondary Campus is not allowing parents or outside vendors (rentals) on their campus. This means, we will not be able to use the school hall (our regular meeting place) this Sunday and probably not until after the 4pm update on 22 August. We have checked with a number of halls in the area including the Square Dance Hall we have used before, and all are unavailable the next two weeks or must follow similar regulations.

Therefore, we will have our service online the next two Sundays on Facebook, Vimeo, and YouTube. We will also have a chance to ‘catch up’ after the service through a ZOOM link so we can at least engage and encourage each other.

We are praying that the current restrictions might be lifted before 22 August but are planning on this solution for the next two weeks. Please contact us – admin@cpcc.org.au if there is anything we can do for you and pray for us to make wise decisions on how to move forward in the next few weeks to minister to our church family and community. This came as an unexpected surprise to all of us. As things change, we will keep you informed by email.
