Jesus and the Afterlife – Mark 12:18- 27

Jesus and the Afterlife Mark 12:18- 27

In Jesus’ confrontation with the Sadducees we see not only Jesus proving there indeed will be life after death, but we also see that this is based upon the character of God Himself. In these verses we see that God is a powerful, life-giving God, who’s faithful to fulfilling the promises He has made to His people, which means there must be a resurrection one day!

The question is: Do we see God in this way? Are our expectations of Him high enough?

As we see in the resurrection of Jesus we can have high hopes of God, not only for life after death, but also in our everyday life. After all, He is our powerful, faithful God committed to bringing us life.
