Interested in the work of our One Step charity?
The charity One Step has been involved in the ministry of Chancellor Church over the past decade, building into the lives of hundreds of young people from troubled backgrounds.
One Step runs multiple driving programs to equip and mentor unemployed young people who have gone on to secure jobs, and it’s mentored school kids to start their own businesses and microfinance startups in developing countries. More recently, One Step has joined with Strength Potential who run youth mentoring programs.
To continue the work of One Step and expand its potential, we are making some changes. At 12:30pm on Nov 15 (after the combined 9:30 am church service) we’ll hold a meeting for all interested, where we’ll create a membership, hopefully establish a new leadership team, and brainstorm ideas for potential new directions.
It will be great to see some new life breathed into this organisation, which has proved in the past to be a great vehicle for community involvement. Set aside Nov 15 and get your thinking caps on leading up to then.
