Rodney Cripps
As the Lead Pastor of Chancellor Church, Rodney does the majority of teaching and preaching on campus.
His style of teaching and preaching is energetic, systematic, and encouraging while primarily teaching verse by verse through entire books of the Bible.

Hayden Walsh
Hayden is the Associate Pastor and directly oversees the ministry areas of Families & Young Adults at Chancellor Church.
Hayden is also studying for a Bachelor of Theology through Malyon College in Brisbane.

Jessica Morely
Jessica is Chancellor Church’s Youth Director, working alongside young people, discipling, encouracing and creating a safe space for them to grow, mature and connect with a healthy Christinan community.

Andrew Gray has been a member of Chancellor Church since 2007. He and his wife Susan have 6 children.

REUBEN RAMSAY
Reuben has been a part of Chancellor Church since 2004 after moving from Central Queensland.

CHRIS BAKER
Chris been a part of Chancellor Church for some 18 years. He and his wife Kylie have two children.

PETER HILL
Peter Hill has been married to his wife Raelene Hill for 36 years and have been at Chancellor Church for over four years.

Ron Neller
Rodney Cripps:
As the Lead Pastor of Chancellor Church, Rodney does the majority of teaching and preaching on campus. His style of teaching and preaching is energetic, systematic, and encouraging while primarily teaching verse by verse through entire books of the Bible. His passion is to make disciples who make disciples. Rodney is married to his wife Sarah and they have one dog, Savannah. He joined us from the United States in September 2019 and is excited to make the Sunshine Coast his home.
Education:
- Bachelor and Master degrees in Music Education from the University of Arkansas
- Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary
- Doctor of Ministry in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary
Hayden Walsh:
Hayden is the Associate Pastor at Chancellor Church. He directly oversees the ministry areas of Families & Young Adults with his wife Elisa serving alongside him.
While serving Christ at Chancellor Church, Hayden is also studying for a Bachelor of Theology through Malyon College in Brisbane.
It was on the Sunshine Coast that Hayden met and married his wife Elisa who also helps manage volunteers for RE in schools. Together they are raising two children and are passionate about seeing God glorified and people of all ages coming to know Him deeply.
Jessica Morely:
Jess is the Youth Director of Chancellor Church and loves working alongside young people, discipling, encouraging, and creating a safe space for youth to grow, mature, connect with a healthy Christian community, and to have a fun time.
Originally from a small town in Victoria and having 3 sisters, Jess moved to the Sunshine Coast 2 years ago and loves the outdoor adventures, road trips, skate boarding, drinking coffee, singing, and is always up for something fun.
Bill Vine
Bill and his wife Debbie have attended Chancellor Church for 20+ years during which time they raised their 2 now adult children. They have appreciated the warm friendship and deep relationships found within Chancellor Church.
Over the years, Bill and Debbie have been involved with pastoral care, young adults, university ministry and other roles under the church umbrella as well as working closely with inter-denominational ministries such as the Mt Tamborine Convention.
Bill is a huge fan of the work of CMA (Christian Ministry Advancement), The Gospel Coalition Australia, CPX (Centre for Public Christianity) and enjoys reading authors such as John Stott, John Dickson, Stuart Piggin and CS Lewis.
Loves researching family and indigenous history, eggs Benedict (eating not researching), Park-Run, anything Deb cooks as well as spending time with family and friends.
Bill works as a piano technician all around the Sunshine Coast.
Andrew Gray
Andrew Gray has been a member of Chancellor Church since 2007. He and his wife Susan have 6 children. Andrew has been employed in Law Enforcement for the last 29 years.
Andrew enjoys the outdoors and is a bit of a home handyman. His most liked passage of Scripture is John 8:7-11.
Reuben Ramsay
Reuben has been a part of Chancellor Church since 2004 after moving from Central Queensland.
In the early years, Reuben was actively involved in the church’s youth group and mentorship of teenage boys. He met his wife, Katelyn, while on a short term mission trip to Uganda in 2005 and together they have 3 young children which he sees as a primary mission field for this time of life. Katelyn is a Pediatric Nurse at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and loves the Sunshine Coast lifestyle.
Reuben believes that God’s Word, delivered by the local church, is the greatest force for good in our community and that the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is the ultimate gift that one can receive.
Chris Baker
Chris, his wife Kylie, and his two children, Olivia and Charlotte, have been active members of Chancellor Church for some 18 years.
They appreciate Chancellor Church’s warmth, teaching, genuineness, and community fellowship.
Chris works in the clinical nursing field, a role that constantly challenges and humbles him as he works with those in need. In his spare moments, his family enjoys camping, spending time with friends, and grabbing a cup of coffee and unique spots.
Peter Hill
Peter Hill has been married to his wife Raelene Hill for 36 years and have been at Chancellor Church for over four years. They have two children, Crystal who died in a car crash in 2004 at the age of 17, and Jack who lives in Melbourne and is is working as an engineer.
Peter retired from his retail life 6 years ago at the age of 60 after serving in various senior roles. He is an active volunteer in our community and church through volunteering at Fusion, driving the Sunday Church Bus service, involvement with VANA Childcare Minisitries, on the board of ONE STEP charity, and other acts of service.
He has been attending a Bible study led by our Chancellor Church pastor for the past two years and loves the passage in Luke 23:34, 42-43 that demonstrates the grace of God and love of Christ on the cross and the sacrifice He made for us.
Walter (Wal) Van der Vlugt
Wal and his wife Kay have attended Chancellor Church for 20+ years. They have a blended family of 5 children and 7 grandchildren. Prior to attending Chancellor Church Wal and few others started a Christian Radio station on the S.C. building the first studio and running a weekly Gospel and Blues program. His involvement at Chancellor has included running a mens ministry, holding bible study groups and home groups, partnering in overseas mission and outreach to house bound and elderly members of the church. Wal appreciates that Chancellor Church has always been one where young and old mesh together and that is centred on the clear and undefiled teaching of Biblical truth to make disciples in an environment of grace.
Ron Neller
Ron, and his wife Julie, have been married for 14 years and have attended Chancellor Church for the past 4 years.
Ron was previously an academic researcher and lecturer in numerous countries and is currently a speaker and writer for Creation Ministries International (Australia).
Ron and Julie appreciate the warmth, friendship and the Biblically grounded purpose of Chancellor Church. They also love hiking, camping and good coffee shops.
