When our sin is exposed, it can feel uncomfortable; like wearing clothes that are too tight. We want to hide, ignore it, refuse to listen, or pretend it doesn’t matter. But Jesus comes with grace and forgiveness; like a close friend or loving family member, He doesn’t care what we look like or how messy things are. His grace meets us in our brokenness, making the difficult and sometimes awkward work of repentance not only possible but welcoming.
